2025 MCPS ELC & Pre-K Fun Day

On Friday, May 9, 2025, ELC and Pre-K enjoyed an activity-filled Fun Day. Due to the possibility of rain, Fun Day was held in the gym, but a good time was still had by all the students. There were eight kid-friendly activities that included basketball throw, sack race, running relay, egg in spoon race, Duck Duck Goose game, parachute play, ball and plunger relay, and the "serve it up" relay. MCPS is a great place to be everyday but especially on Fun Day because...."They Not Like Us"!

Field Day for K-2 at MCPS

On Friday, May 2nd, 2025 the kindergarten, first, and second grade students participated in a fun-filled, field day. First, second, and third place ribbons were given to add to the excitement. The students enjoyed going head to head with other classes in their grades and the teachers were hyped for the competitions, as well. The students participated in events such as the ring relay, sack race , plunger relay, and water balloon toss to name a few. Field day is a time for students to show their mastery of skills learned in physical education class throughout the year. There was even a tug of war show-down between parents and faculty members. MCPS is definitely the place to be on field day…….”They not like us!” For more pictures, click on the headline!
