Field Day for K-2 at MCPS

On Friday, May 2nd, 2025 the kindergarten, first, and second grade students participated in a fun-filled, field day. First, second, and third place ribbons were given to add to the excitement. The students enjoyed going head to head with other classes in their grades and the teachers were hyped for the competitions, as well. The students participated in events such as the ring relay, sack race , plunger relay, and water balloon toss to name a few. Field day is a time for students to show their mastery of skills learned in physical education class throughout the year. There was even a tug of war show-down between parents and faculty members.
