Principal's Message

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year at Mitchell County Primary School! I hope each of you had a safe, restful, and enjoyable summer break. As we begin another exciting school year, I am filled with enthusiasm and anticipation for all that we will accomplish together.

At Mitchell County Primary School, we are committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where every child can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Our dedicated teachers, support staff, and school personnel have been working hard to prepare classrooms, organize learning experiences, and ensure that our students have a successful start to the school year.

I would like to extend a very special welcome to our new students and families joining Mitchell County Primary School and the Mitchell County School District. We are excited to have you become part of our school family and look forward to building strong relationships with you throughout the year. We encourage all families to stay connected, involved, and engaged in their child’s educational journey.

This year, we will continue to focus on academic excellence, positive student behavior, attendance, and strong partnerships between home and school. Together, we can help our students develop confidence, responsibility, kindness, and a lifelong love of learning.

Parents and guardians, your support is vital to the success of our students. Please ensure that students arrive at school on time each day, ready to learn and participate. Regular communication between home and school is one of the keys to student achievement, and we encourage you to stay informed through school newsletters, phone calls, emails, and school events.

To our students, we are excited to welcome you back! We cannot wait to see your smiling faces, hear about your summer adventures, and watch you learn and grow throughout the year. Remember to always do your best, be respectful, make good choices, and believe in yourself.
