Principal's Message

Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s),

It is an honor to introduce myself as the new principal of Mitchell County Primary School and to join this extraordinary community. This year has marked my 30th year in education and I have had the opportunity to serve in a myriad of capacities in the profession from primary to secondary education. I can assure you that I share in this school community’s vision and commitment to caring for your children while providing them a high-quality learning environment. As the principal and instructional leader, I will continue to lead with the students’ best interests at the forefront, seeking and exploring innovative and effective ways to meet the needs of all students.
 
The primary school principalship provides me the chance to work collaboratively with teachers, district leaders, and the community on a daily basis, while remaining connected to young students learning, growing, and soaring in the classroom. The core beliefs and values that underlie Mitchell County Primary will continue to remain at the vanguard of our youths’ education. Thus, every child CAN- and WILL- excel!!
 
Prepare to soar high as meaningful and challenging educational experiences will be provided at MCPS. Please know that my door is always open to you; your conversation and positive input throughout this year will be heartily welcomed. Let us always keep our students as the primary focus of our work. I look forward to serving and celebrating our concerted successes during the school year!
