Registration for Pre-K for 2019-2020 Year

Registration for Mitchell County School System’s Early Learning Program (3 year olds), Pre-K, and Kindergarten for the 2020-2021 school year has begun. The 4th Quarter ended Friday, April 10, 2020; Promotion/retention will be sent home on April 15. Summer Break will be from April 13-July 17. School Resumes on July 20, 2020. Mini-mester will be held from April 20 to June 12. This is a great opportunity for students to catch-up, move ahead or accelerate. Attention: Meal Pickup Info

Mitchell County School Nutrition Program: Starting the week of April 6, breakfast and lunches will be provided for the entire week (5 days of meals) and must be picked up on Wednesdays only. You may pick up meals between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Wednesday.

April 1: Governor Brian P. Kemp signed Executive Order closing all public elementary, secondary, and post-secondary public schools in Georgia for in-person instruction for the remainder of the school term. Online instruction will continue.
 
INFECTION  PREVENTION  STEPS
·        Wash your hands often with soap + water.   Avoid touching your eyes, nose + mouth with unwashed hands.
·        Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
·        Avoid close contact with people who are sick. ·  Get a flu shot!  ·        Clean + disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces such as counters, door knobs, desks, keyboards, tablets and phones.
