MCSS: New Student Enrollment

Attention Parents: Registration of New Students (Early Learning, Pre-K-1st grades) for the Mitchell County School System will be held at Mitchell County Primary School. The following documents are required to complete the application process: a copy of your child's immunization record, social security card, Ear-Eye-and Dental Form and birth certificate to give to the registrar upon enrollment of your child. Pre-K and Early Learning Center (3 year old program) Registration for the Mitchell County School System will begin on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 

 
Registration Packets can be picked up at Mitchell County Primary School,  50 Griffin Road, Camilla, GA 31730.  
Registration packets may be picked up and returned; OR due to COVID, 1 parent and the student may be allowed to complete registration at the school. 
 
Parents of Pre-K students:  Your child must be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2022.  *Birthdate must fall between September 2, 2017 – September 1, 2018. *
 
Dear Parent/Guardian: Welcome to the Mitchell County School System.  Our goal is to provide your child with the best education possible.  Listed below are the required documents for enrollment.  
 
Required Registration Documents:
Copy of Birth Certificate and Copy of Social Security card
Immunization Record (on GA Form 3231) and  Ear, Eye, and Dental record (on GA Form 3300)
 
Proof of residency (lease, mortgage bill, or electric/utility bill) -Proof of residency must contain the name and address of the parent/guardian/legal custodian listed on the registration form. If the name on the proof of residency is different from parent/guardian/legal custodian, an affidavit stating all residents living in the home will be required by the homeowner/landlord. 
 
Copy of card for any of the following services (if applicable) Food Stamps, Medicaid, TANF, SNAP, Peachcare, SSI, or CAPS
 
Guardianship/Custody orders if the child does not live with natural parents
