2025 MCPS Academic Celebrations

On May 21, 2025, The MCPS Faculty and Staff held an Academic Celebration for both First and Second Grade. Students started off the event with a welcome, the Pledge of Allegiance and a poem. Students were given a variety of awards such as Math awards, Reading awards, Most Improved awards, Citizenship awards, Perfect and Good Attendance awards, Principal's awards, Progress award, and Resource Class awards. Each grade also sang two songs. First grade sang "I am Amazing" and "The World's Greatest", while Second grade sang "I Believe I Can Fly" and "Goodbye to the Second Grade".
